The Folkloric Exhibition of Gorgopi was set up by the Municipality of Axioupolis in 2002 in cooperation with the Cultural Association of Gorgopi “Neoi Paiones”.
The exhibition presents numerous objects of household appliance and traditional occupations of the local people. Many originate from refugee families and were brought from Minor Asia, the Black Sea and Thrace.
Members of the Association “Neoi Paiones” collected the exhibits which successfully depict the way of living of the local people from 1912 onwards.
